Crown Tourney Necklace 18 viewsA couple of years ago, a friend of mine came to me and told me that she was going to be fought for in an event for the Society for Creative Anachronism called Crown Tourney. She wished to give the ladies that were attending her a little something to remember the day by, and something that would go with the red and black dresses we had made for the day.
This was the first necklace I made. It consists of round hematite beads, gold seed beads, and red glass beads. All of the recipients were thrilled with the necklaces.

Crown Tourney Necklace 27 viewsThe second of the six necklaces I made. The lady who was presenting them wanted each one to be unique and special, like the ladies wearing them. This one is created out round hematite beads, black square and red round glass beads, with gold seed bead accents.

Crown Tourney Necklace 34 viewsNecklace number three is much like necklace number 5. The bead colors are simply reversed, with the red glass beads on the outside, and the hematite are on the inside. Gold seed beads accent them.

Crown Tourney Necklace 45 viewsNecklace number four proved to be something of a challenge, since black square glass beads don't always like to form a circle. However, it turned out just fine. The other beads used are the round hematite, round and teardrop shaped red glass, and gold seed beads.
